1. Introduction

LeaseFind , is a digital showcase that connects tenants with rental properties. We are a platform for direct contact – we do not own, manage, or lease any property, nor do we process payments or contracts.

By using the website, you enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Definitions

“Platform” – the LeaseFind website and any related services.
“Provider” – any person or business listing contact details and rental information.
“Seeker” / “you” – any person using the platform to find accommodation.
“Content” – all text, images, profile photos, and descriptions uploaded by providers.

3. No brokerage, agency, or payment processing

LeaseFind is strictly an information platform. We are not a party to any rental agreement between seekers and providers. We do not:

Collect rent, deposits, or any fees on behalf of providers.
Negotiate or advise on rental prices or terms.
Provide legal or financial advice.
Act as an agent, broker, or representative of any provider.

Any transaction or agreement is solely between you and the provider. LeaseFind accepts no liability for disputes, damages, or losses arising from such agreements.

4. Provider terms

If you register as a provider, you agree to:

Provide accurate and current contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email).
Upload only authentic images – profile photos must be of you or your authorised representative; cover images must depict your actual property.
Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Notify LeaseFind if your contact details change or if you are no longer accepting new tenants.
Comply with all applicable South African laws.

Provider verification: We reserve the right to verify any provider by requesting business documents, ID, or proof of location. Failure to provide such proof may result in removal from the platform.

5. Seeker / user obligations

As a user seeking accommodation, you agree:

To use the contact details only for legitimate accommodation enquiries.
Not to misuse the platform for spam, advertising, or fraudulent purposes.
To treat providers with respect and engage in good faith.
To report any suspicious or inaccurate listings to PotchAcco.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with providers. We recommend you view any property in person and sign a written lease before paying any money.

6. Content and intellectual property

Providers retain ownership of their images and descriptions. By uploading content, you grant LeaseFind a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, modify for layout, and promote your listing on the platform and related marketing (e.g., social media highlights).

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

LeaseFind provides the platform “as is”. Under uncertain conditions, we do not always guarantee that:

All providers are fully verified at all times (though we strive to vet initially).
The platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Any property meets your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, LeaseFind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any interactions with providers.

Total liability (if any) is limited to R500.

8. Reporting and takedown

If you believe a listing is fraudulent, offensive, or violates these terms, please contact us immediately at safety@LeaseFind.co.za. We will investigate and may remove the listing without prior notice.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be notified via the website.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the Magistrates' Court.
